If you would like to let us know more about your experience attempting to request a meal, you can register on the new interest list below. This is not a wait list. It is a feedback form that we will use to learn more about the unmet need for accessible and affordable better meals in our local communities.

If you are in need of food, dial 211 by phone or visit 211info.org.
If you have internet access, check out Urban Gleaners' Free Food Market, the Oregon Food Bank Food Finder for information on food pantries, food hubs, meal services, and meal sites. This website is free to use and is open throughout the week.

Also, Street Roots' Rose City Resource Guide is the most comprehensive list of services for people experiencing homelessness and poverty in Clackamas, Multnomah and Washington counties.

We do food rescue and divert perfectly good, quality ingredients from going to food waste and use them to create a healthy, nutrition-dense meal that we cook and distribute at no cost to the community.  We use your individual donations to purchase additional ingredients we need to make accessible meals to anyone in need, at no cost, no questions asked.

  • MCK has moved! Our kitchen is now at Rose City Park Presbyterian Church 1907 NE 45th Ave, Portland 97213.

  • Feb 13, 2024: We now have delivery service boundaries.  Click here to see the map of where we deliver in Multnomah County and NW Clackamas areas.  If your delivery request falls outside these areas, your submission will automatically be cancelled.  You are welcome to request a meal for an in-person pickup.

  • A new menu is posted on a Tuesday morning and is shared on Instagram and Facebook except during breaks

  • The online Smartsheet meal request form re-opens on a Tuesday morning

  • Requests can be made online between Tuesday to Wednesday, until our capacity is reached

  • Max capacity for MCK Family Meals: 80 households each week

  • Requests must be made each time and limit 1 family meal per household

  • We prep and cook Thursday evenings

  • Any change in requests is due by Thursday 5 pm

  • We plan all delivery routes and pick-ups on Friday mornings

  • We portion and package up meals on Friday evenings

  • Meal pick-up will be from our kitchen between 10am-11am on Saturday

  • We offer meal pick-ups in addition to deliveries

  • Delivery is made on a Saturday between 10am-1pm

  • Someone from your household must be available to receive the meal

  • To ensure food consumption safety, in addition to attempting a personal hand-off a text message notification will be sent upon delivering the cooked meal. We will only contact ahead if there is a question on the information you provided
